Vision
The substance abuse resource center at UNT strives to create a culture of personal responsibility, thereby developing responsible custodians of alcohol and other drug use; reducing and eliminating abuse, dependence and barriers to personal, professional, and academic success.
Mission
The substance abuse resource center provides evidence based individual, group, and environmental level intervention regarding alcohol and other drug use and dependence. In order to reduce issues related to unlawful and unhealthy alcohol and other drug use at UNT and its surrounding community.

We provide counseling, assessment, and education for both mandated and self referred UNT students. If you have concerns regarding alcohol or other drug use make an appointment for a free, confidential, and supportive assessment.
